Default Job openings?

I'm looking for part time or preferably full time work within the bicycle industry, but not necessarily limited to the bicycle industry.

What I am looking for is a stable company that can offer a solid position in sales, marketing, R&D, customer service or mechanical engineering.

If anyone knows of any opportunities, please let me know.

Thanks.

Default Just a word about malakye.....

Almost every job listing on that site gets flooded with about 200+ resumes for every job listing. My wife is the only person that I know that has gotten a gig off that site much less an interview, and I've had about 8 of my friends totally qualified for positions, not even get a call back. We both have had to use it to try and hire someone in the past, and the amount of resumes you get is daunting. Make sure your coverletter is very specific for the job you are looking for , IE you are the perfect person for that job because.... Also try Bicycle Retailer for bike stuff http://www.bicycleretailer.com/classifieds/16.html
and
http://www.boardsportjobs.com/search...token=26584818
for non bike stuff.
Hope this helps. Good luck!

Shoot me a PM with your resume and I can get it to the right hands... Our sales dept is understaffed at the moment, as is our marketing side. Not 100% sure what's the current status, I think there's a fwe postings on our website www.feltracing.com

We're always looking for good people!

Felt Bikes has a graphic design opening that I've thought about applying for. I'm totally unsure what the salaries are like in the bike/active sports industry. Don't know if I'm willing to step out from my much less exciting but well paying design job in the financial industry.

Can anyone share their experiences working in the bike industry?

I'm sure it depends on the company. Some companies are small startups and can only afford to pay pocket change and a ball of lint, while I'm sure some of the bigger companies have competitive salaries and "bennies", not pennies.

i actually have had some luck with malakye. i interviewed at billabong and was offered a position, but the pay wasnt quite worth the drive for me. i also interviewed down at sole tech, again the pay wasn't what i was looking for. have had some side work for quiksilver, but the fulltime gigs generally don't pay all that well unless you are a 'higher up' in the company...

They are also looking for sales people:

(let's not turn this into a thread about Specialized, just throwing out options for one of our own. thanks.)
