Default Fox Flux helmets at sports chalet

I went by Sports Chalet tonight and saw that they had Fox Flux helmets for $70 on sale. I didn't need/want one so I passed but I'm sure someone could use one. Safety first!!

REI outlet has them too.
If you want a small in lime green you can get it for $30.

My son works at their warehouse and I get 20% off even with stuff on sale....

Wonder if I should buy another?

The only color they had was the upper left hand corner. Looked pretty cool in person.

Much love for you Dino.
Iron Horse bikes do not require helmets since the self centering feature is built in.

You mean that little itsy bitsy tree branch that almost decapitated you and left you dangling trailside cracked your helmet? Wow, I'm not shocked at all.

Hope you're okay, Toby. Thanks for the ride yesterday.

BTW, I stopped by Sport Chalet yesterday to pick one up for me as my Giro is literally falling apart. The ones on sale are last years model and camo only. Still a good deal and I would've got one, if they had any L/XL in stock. I tried one on and not sure if I just got a big frickin' noggin but that thing was terribly uncomfortable; especially that lock strap on the back. Maybe I didn't know what the hell I was doing or maybe I just need to stick to Giro. Like the Sport Chalet dude said to me, "you have a Giro head"...whatever that means.

Although Winter Creek has it's share of branches, this one was on Sunset in Altadena.

Thanks!
I got tagged by a branch there last week - Knowing you like it there, I thought it might have been the same one.

I still can't believe i didn't even see that damn branch. Feeling a little sore today, but nothing major. I was most worried about my thumb, but it feels fine now. Counting my blessings that things didn't turn out worse, given where i fell. Thanks again, Joe, for extricating me from the brush and my bike. Even with the crash it was a fantastic ride yesterday. We'll have to do that one again soon.
