You have my sympathy, brother. When the pins of a platform pedal come in contact with a shin it's like running an aged piece of cheddar along a cheese grater

When I did the same thing about a year or so ago, I had a shin like the Elephant Man for weeks, dude. I still have the jagged scars to prove it. The worst bit was enduring the pain of scrubbing the dirt off in the shower only to have my wife pour hydrogen peroxide down my gnarly appendage. Good times
