Default you know that bridge @ Marian Bear?...

yeah?

well...

it totally devoured me on new years day.

i wish i had pics or somebody had a video of it, because apparently it was magical... from what i hear.

i was shooting down the right-hand bend (towards the parking lot- if that makes sense) that meets the little wooden bridge, and i took the bridge ramp WAY too fast.

WHAM!!!

i smashed right into the wooden handrail, smashing my hand, causing me to endo, and i guess i tail-whipped the rear, smashing my leg, then i fell to the ground, while my bike was still hung up on the handrail.

i have no idea how it looked, except for my bro saying "nice landing!"

so, my knuckles are super-sore, as well as the inside of my knee, where i smashed it.

my neck is a little stiff... but it's going away.

plus, my new helmet is all scratched up. awesome! looks battle-tested now!

it was fun!!!

I did that years ago in Whiting on the lower singletrack near oakley- went into one of those corners a little fast and put the bike right into the railing. my dad was behind me and laughed so hard he nearly fell off his bike.

it's the little wooden bridge, right past where they're doing that wetlands project work (if you've been there recently)

yeah it's hard to explain... it on the east trails?.. might be the only bridge there.

and thanks

thats the one. it does the weird hump thing, and yes, that baby has wooden handrails.

i only know this now because i had an intimate moment with the rail.
