just drove along live oak past trabuco canyon, looked like it was plenty wet over there, with the water over the bridge. But now there's almost no water in the stream at all... Even looked like a few brave souls were riding up the dirt toward the trailhead!

I'm sure the respite won't last...

It turned out kinda good for me today.
I spent the morning changing out two different flats and detailing the roadie. I was hoping it wouldn't rain anymore and would start to dry out a bit, and it did.
I was going to go up near where Steppie was - I packed the car and got on the road.
After a couple of miles, I decided that I had left too late (I didn't want to get stuck in a shady canyon), so I turned around and grabbed the singlespeed instead.
I ended up getting 37 miles on PCH.
No dirt (just sand), but not bad for a rainy day.
