Whoa! I live just south of SM in Westchester, and no rain yet! I'm probably 7-9 miles south though...

With the wind gusts being as strong as they are up in the Ave. P land and as thin as you are, I'm surprised you haven't blown away to Lake Isabella or Mammoth by now.

You're a nut...be careful out there, old buddy.

Still dry in SD. Mostly cloudy but the Sun has still been out all day too.

I should've planned a ride.

I forgot my rule of thumb when dealing with SoCal weather forecasters--plan to ride no matter what and don't cancel until the rain is actually falling.

Depending.. maybe we'll be up for a Daley or Vail Lake ride on Sunday morning. Really depends on weather, though. Not gonna do either if it really rains tomorrow.

I'm about 5 miles west of there, near Santiago oaks. Just walked outside and felt a few light drops, but there's a pretty dark bunch of clouds moving up from the SW. I wouldn't be surprised if the upslope areas are already getting some showers, with more nearby.

I was hoping to squeeze in a ride this afternoon before it hit, but I think it's cutting it too close. I've been fighting a slight cold for a couple days and would rather not be 7 miles out from my car when the skies open up

If it does rain like they say it will tomorrow, I was thinking maybe a road ride Sunday.

I should've planned for a ride this afternoon though. It looks like the rain is still at least a couple hours away. The coast looks OK now.

Hit me up if it works out. I'm really hoping tomorrow isn't gonna be as bad as they say. I read on weather.com about 3 hours ago it'll rain the morning, be cloudy, then rain again.. so, we may get pretty lucky and just have muddy fire roads.

Though I was thinking it might be really sweet to ride through snow flakes.

Default Mammoth Mountain Dump Alert!!

Fresh Turns and Powder Slashes
Snow began falling early today and is steadily accumulating on the mountain
Winds were calm this morning, however they may increase as the storm continues to move in.
Look forward to fresh turns, powder slashes and future dump alerts because the snow is forecasted to keep coming!

Raining in L.A. for the past 3 hours, still dry in Riverside.

Designed better or riders back east just don't care. My vote being a rider from back east is they just don' care. We are fortunate enough here to have a lot of nice sunny days, they don't. So if they can ride, they ride. Rain or trail conditions isn't a factor to them.
