We left the parking lot about 1045. Went up Cholla, down Rock It to Coyote and finished on Dripping Cave. We need name tags .

queenwilhelmina - not sure yet, still looking around and won't be making a final decision until next spring but my lbs recommended I test ride the giant anthem and ranier...honestly, I'm so bad with specifics that I can't even tell you what I have on my HT let alone what I'm looking for so I'm relying a lot on public opinion and suggestions.

I think we might have saw you. I was on a black Trek with 2 guys on Gary Fisher downhill bikes. Was your friend on a Specialized?

I was on my new Chumba. It was probably going too fast to get a clear view of it.

I just have to say because I'm so proud of myself that I got down Rock It - rock garden and all on the HT in one piece with no stops *woohoo* until just past that part there's a slippery shelf at an angle around a curve and there's no way I was gettin' up that mutha.

I had a few "uh, oh's" and "should I even try this??" but I told myself to shut up, slid my butt back even further and kept going 'cause since I did it once, I had no reason to not do it again. I didn't set any land speed records but man, it felt good! And when I got to the bottom I stopped and had myself a little victory dance .
