Thanks capn, I went looking for a regular bike with training wheels for my daughter, she is 2 1/2 years old.
At the store, I was told that the hardwalk is better to get her started because she'll just learn to skud(sp?) her self and glide and it will help her with her balance. Once she can do that, I was told that she'll get off the training wheels very fast or might not even need a training wheel. I thought that make sense. Did I just get suckered into getting this? or Did do the right thing? |

those look sweet. I was looking at that one a few weeks ago. It looks like it might be better than those wooden ones. Check out how stout that stem is!!!

This is what I got my 10 year old niece for Christmas. I found it on Craigslist for a REALLY good price
. Its an '04 model (in really great shape) which is ok, she doesn't need the latest and greatest she just wants to ride whenever we go.
