Anyone training for 2008 racing- Vision Quest, Julian Deathride, Idyllwild? I ride from Rancho Penasquitos area. I can join another group or start a weekly ride. Saturdays early? Weds 6pm?

I entered the 2008 Counting Coup, but the SD fires and my injury threw a serious wrench in the works. I'm still not sure if I'll end up doing it or not.

Other than that, I'm interested in doing a 24 Hour race and maybe more.

We're (hubby and I) doing VQ. We usually do a long mountain bike ride on Saturday's.. unless Brian can convince us to ride on Sunday's

But, I don't think we can keep up with him.

We usually ride indoors during the week.. But, sometimes we'll do night rides.

I'm always looking for more rides, I don't know if I'd consider myself an expert+ though....

I can keep a decent pace and I like riding with people faster than I am. Currently though I'm only doing 12 hr races.

I live in La Mesa and the closer the better. Its hard for me to make it up to Escondido but I might start making the trip on the weekends.

I'm looking to get in some long mile rides this coming week as I'm off till the 2nd.

That you Guy? If so I'll be up for some longer rides starting in Jan. Calling your ride an Expert+ might get some folks in way over their head...maybe Expert+++

Que haces Mario?- Yep, its Guy. Older and greyer but trying to get out there for some fun and games in 2008. Are you still doing the 24hrs solo riding?

Hey! We're in UTC/La Jolla and training for VQ. I am not an expert rider though so if you want to do a recovery ride, let me (and Dan) know.
