Default In remembrance...my beloved Intense 6.6

My Intense 6.6 frame has been sold! It is going to San Jose for a stop over before heading to it's final destination - Norway! It seems strange to think my old frame will be on a different continent.

I was happy to get it sold. Now I'm feeling a bit nostalgic since it's gone...

I had a lot of fun on that bike, from day one I loved it. Rode a lot of great trails, had some great rides. It may be out of sight but it will live forever in pictures and memories. Here's a trip down (trail) memory lane...

Goodbye, my friend. Have lots of good rides in Norway!

Congrats on the sale!!

I know what you mean though. In the recent past, I have sold a Marz fork that went to Poland, a Manitou fork that went to Chile and a wheelset that went to England.

Craziest thing was that they were willing to pay for the international shipping.

Default Downhill Barbie Rocks!!!

I like this one the best. The blurred background makes you look like a doll. I know what it reminds me of, Downhill Barbie!!!!! Just think if we would have had one of these to play with growning up.

It was just time for a change, something new.

My Intense was my trail/DH bike, it did everything. I loved it! Then Eric bought me a Specialized Demo 7. That gave me a dedicated DH bike, so I wanted to get something more XC/trail oriented, a little lighter weight, etc.

I'd still rave about it, it was a great bike! My bike needs have changed, and it's just time to try something new...

woohoo all this time and it's going on a long trip to a great place where it'll most likely spend its days ripping downhill. So what's next?

OK, here they are! Just got my shock back from Push - same shock as was on my Intense.

Some may have seen this bike already, I rode it at the Sladnas/Daley Ranch ride.

Sooo pretty.

Some more photos (before the coil shock was installed).

To answer Allison's question, that is the bottom-out bumper that Push installs.
