Our posthuman future
This is a quote from a book I read. It is called OUR POSTHUMAN FUTURE. Good reading. The author is Francis Fukuyama. "A 1998 study showed that among Michigan Medicare recipients, some 57% of those under the age of 4 who were diagnosed with ADHD ( a crock) were being prescribed one or more psychotropic medications. One particular study, which caused a small political furor when it was released, showed that in 1995 stimulants were being given to more than 12% of 2 to 4 year olds in one large Midwestern medicade program, and anti-depressants to nearly 4 %." This is just wrong!

I personally don't understand the whole "ADHD" thing. I mean if you really stop to think about it, HEY LOOK--those smiley's to the right of this window are funny. I remember this one time when I was in high school......
