looking forward to the ride report
I hear great things about the G2 geo.My first 29'er was a Fisher Rig. Fisher makes nice bikes at a good price point. Enjoy! ![]() ![]()

I wanted to do the same thing.. For some crazy reason I decided I wanted a Surly 1x1, which is a heavy steel frame. I got a fork/King headset deal. And used mostly other parts lying around, except for brakes. It ended up not being so cheap. And now the build definitely isn't cheap!!

The Bontrager stuff really doesn't hold up well on the road end of things. I wonder if their off road stuff will be better. Keep us in the loop on how it works out. Sexy babe there fo shore!

![]() I am glad my SS is aluminum though. And I've dropped an additional 2 lbs with the rigid carbon fork. Now I just hope I like riding it that way. Here's a really crappy cell phone pic: ![]()

I've only got the scandium Dos anywhere near a comparison.. but the steel is a nicer ride when you don't have suspension.

Nice bike. I am really diggin' my Paragon. I changed the travel on my F29 to 100mm and like it much better than at 80mm.
You work for a Fisher dealer?? Just curious, since you had your's fresh outta the box. ![]() |
