looking forward to the ride reportI hear great things about the G2 geo.

My first 29'er was a Fisher Rig. Fisher makes nice bikes at a good price point.

Enjoy!

that is a gorgeous bike. i love the coffee color with the brown saddle and the white fork. it's stunning. Fisher makes a great bike as far as "bang for your buck" goes. Have fun!

i want one so bad, i'm trying to figure out the CHEAPEST way to enter this should i totally hate it.

I've been eyeballing the GT Peac 9'er, Kona 08 unit 29, and even buying Ethan's kona DJ frame and building up a SS

I wanted to do the same thing.. For some crazy reason I decided I wanted a Surly 1x1, which is a heavy steel frame. I got a fork/King headset deal. And used mostly other parts lying around, except for brakes. It ended up not being so cheap. And now the build definitely isn't cheap!!

The Bontrager stuff really doesn't hold up well on the road end of things. I wonder if their off road stuff will be better. Keep us in the loop on how it works out. Sexy babe there fo shore!

I hear ya there. I was thinking about my SS and how now that I've got the carbon rigid on it, it's now--in theory anyway--the same bike as the first mt bikes--a rigid SS with fat tires. I/we just took that idea and made it more expensive.

I am glad my SS is aluminum though. And I've dropped an additional 2 lbs with the rigid carbon fork. Now I just hope I like riding it that way.

Here's a really crappy cell phone pic:

the cheapest geared bike you can find on craigs list. Strip all the gears off and put a chain tensionor on it and roll. $100-$150 bucks

I've only got the scandium Dos anywhere near a comparison.. but the steel is a nicer ride when you don't have suspension.

Nice bike. I am really diggin' my Paragon. I changed the travel on my F29 to 100mm and like it much better than at 80mm.

You work for a Fisher dealer??

Just curious, since you had your's fresh outta the box.

I did some marketing work for a Fisher dealer back east. We worked out trade for services and the bike. I was curious about the 80mm fork as well. I guess I'll have to get used to it and ride.
