Careful during the holidays

I can't stress for everyone to be careful during the holidays. Always watch your back and there is strength in numbers. My GF was nearly robbed/car jacked on her way home from work on the corner of Bolsa and Springdale in HB . Thankfully her doors were locked, windows rolled up, and the timing of the traffic light allowed her to floor it. She was able to report it to the police so hopefully her or someone else will not be targeted again. Always be alert especially during these times!!

Good looking out... As we run through our normally busy days and we add in all the holiday shopping and what not, things can get extremely crazy, and it is very easy to find oneself even more sidetracked while driving... beware the crazies not to mention the boozers on the road and let's all have a safe holiday season...

Yup right in that area. Apparently these guys were watching her when she was pumping gas at the Arco gas station. Once she pulled out to the intersection, two guys with sweat shirts with hoods pulled up and sunglasses approached the car from the rear. They attempted to enter the left rear passenger and front right passenger doors.

Sorry to hear about your GF's attack. I went to school down in HB and I never heard of thing happening in that area. It was always a nice quiet area. I guess HB is being overrun by the bad elements in LB. (no offense to anyone here who lives in LB).

That's crazy. Usually that's a pretty ok area. I'm a former HB kid too. Hope she reported to the Police so they can be on the lookout too.

It's not necessarily the bad elements of LB. Just about every city has a really bad part now. Even HB has the "Slater Slums" and it's been that way for years. Westminster and Garden Grove have some real bad areas as well. I know what your saying and I'm not offended, but who knows where these guys came from. That corner is not in a bad area at all.
