Default Which Trail are you missing the most?

This is the time of year (winter/rainy/windy) that I usually spend most of my time on STT or Harding. Today (cold & windy) it really hit me that I'm starting to miss a couple of trails.

For me it is the STT. Only riding Blackstar and SCST for my night rides is getting old

Living 2 minutes from both Whiting and the Luge, it kills me to have these closed. Means I have to actually put the bike on the rack and drive somewhere to ride. You know that is no way for a guy to live.

Although the trails in the burn area, there are other trails I miss, such as A-Line in Whistler.

Whiting - it's not the best trail, but it's where I started mtb'ng - I've been thinking of it often, hope to ride it soon (changed as it is)!

Harding, for several reasons.
1. It is the trail that I use to measure my fitness during the racing season. A TT up Harding is a great test.
2. I use Harding for longer loops in the Santa Anas, connecting to H. Jim, Joplin, or Trabuco.
3. During the winter, I like to ride my CX bike up Harding, descend Maple S., and ride Santiago Cyn. back to Cook's.

The truth is, I miss all of the other trails as well. I just hope the Forest Service decides to open them up soon.

What about SJT....Super sweet at night! As a matter of fact, I am riding there tonight. If anyone is interested, I am starting around 6:00 at the trailhead. Pretty quick pace due to it being cold.

since no trail is really close to me, i would say i miss riding whiting/stt/luge/whiting a lot. i especially miss riding stt/luge/halfway to old camp at night.

i picked Motorway, only because i rank it higher than Maple Springs.

allison and i had planned on doing pre-VQ simulations that would help us get our nutrition and hydration needs figured out as well as ensure we were making the cutoffs. that is not available due to the closures.
