ODB - you'll get a pm shortly from me...Once the house is done and we're moved in (early next week), i'll be around more. I'm tired and every muscle in my body is sore. We've completely gutted and redone our whole house. (in 1 week). All sweat equity - that should count for some calore burning . Goodluck to everyone!

Happy New Year, everyone.

Just back from vacay, and WOW there's been a lot of action on the thread. Bear with me as I try to get caught up.

Awesome to see several new participants, including some more who i will include in the cash contest cuz they e-mailed me before Jan. 1.

As far as weigh-ins go, either post on the thread or PM your starting weight. I will post them next to your name on the first post of the thread, which i've been updating as new participants have hopped on board.

Oh, and the overall contest may get VERY interesting thanks to a new donation. Stay tuned, all.

If any of you competitors need someone to ride with during the week, I usually head out around 9-10am every morning. Just PM me the day before and I'll let you know what I think I'm going to ride.

Justin is right - just ride all the time and minimize the carb intake and the pounds will disappear!

I lost 45 lbs 205 to 165 by just riding alot and being modestly careful about what I eat. Lots of exercise is KEY!

I'm rooting everyone on here!!!!

Twitch move the couch into the garage so if faces your MTB bike instead of the TV. BTW put a new tire on before our next ride. Don't throw the tire away I want to see if the sealer is the culprit.

For those of you that don't have a diet to follow, don't do one of those tomato/onion soup diets. Your cravings will get the best of you, quick. I swear by the South Beach Diet. It involves normal food, and the book was in the Borders bargain bin for like $5 a couple weeks ago.

Good luck everyone.
Uh, someone has a pretty selective memory. I'm still down 10 pounds from our first weight-loss challenge. How about you, bro?

I was surprised that my December off with the bum knee only added 6 lbs.

Yesterday morning before the Loop, 5'11" @ 208.5# - I'd like to get to 190" or less.........

Good luck everyone!

Dang.. I'm only 3" taller, and weigh just under that. That's like my fighting weight.
