Default Anyone ever used a White Industries Eccentric ENO Hub?

Just curious if anyone has experience with these, seem like a nice alternative to a chain tensioner.

Default Do it

I think that this is a great way to go. We have set a lot of eccentric Eno hubs up, and some of the guys at the shop have it on personal bikes.

I would venture to say that for non disc setups, the eccentric Eno is the ultimate ss setup, more sollid, and easier to use than EBB, sliding drop outs, or any other form of ss chain tensioning. I have not heard of it slipping or creaking. It is quick and easy to set the chain tension, and get the rear wheel strait. The bearings are reliable and smooth. You can change the axle ends out for different spacing (130, 135, I think even 120).

For rear disc brake bikes, it can be a bit of a hassle. Even with disc brakes, it is way better than a chain tensioner.

We got some in custom ano grey a while ago.

I used White's front and rear on that build.

The bearings are butter smooth and roll super nice. Perfect for SS'ng.

Yea these hubs are sweet. They are on the front/rear of my fixie road and on the rear of an old GT Zaskar mtn bike of mine. Worth the money!
