I have a set of Slipstreamz and a Shuffle wired into my helmet. The headphones are permenantly connected to the helmet. There are no wires to f' with. Just take the helmet on and off. The Shuffle connects to the strap in the back. This is the second helmet I have had set up like this. It works really well. While on the road I can hear cars coming from behind and carry on a conversation with people whilst music (or a book) is playing.

I am waiting for a good set of Bluetooth, bud style, headphones to come out. I will attach the headphones to the helmet and a small MP3 player (Sanyo or iPod nanno) on the stem, handlebar, or in jersey pocket. This will allow me to change playlists or books easier. Additionally if I get the Sanyo I can listen to NPR when I'm tired of music (got to stay on top of what is going on in the World).

It's not all economics and it is supposed to be fairly conspiracy theory-ish (full of anecdotal evidence).
I have it on DVD but haven't seen it yet myself.
A couple of guys at work have been talking it up and pushing for me to watch it.

Thanks for the recommendation. I really enjoyed watching this. Yes very conspiracy theory-ish and full of anecdotal evidence. More references would have been appreciated. Being one of the educated people that he encourages to ask questions I would like to know more about the supporting evidence. I suppose it would take more than 2 hours seeing as he shoots hole in much world history.

However the anecdotal evidence matches up pretty well with much of Confessions of an Economic Hitman and the movie my wife and I watched tonight, Why We Fight. Why We Fight is about the military industrial complex. Pretty interesting stuff.

While watching Zeitgeist I wanted to move to Canada to escape the bullsh!t until the topic of The North American Union was discussed. Makes me wonder why the dollar is being allowed to become so devalued. New Zealand maybe?

I'm going to watch it this weekend.
To hijack this thread completely - I think we are moving to a global economy and that the NAU is an inevitability.
As I see it - We have the Euro already and the other countries are going to need to do the same or suffer.
Probably an Arabic economic union, an Asian one, a North American and a South American. Eventually an African too. Lots of potential in Africa.
Australia is going to have to decide which one they will join - Us or the Asian one.
These are long term things - The Asian one will take some doing.
Far in the future, I'd assume we'll have a global currency.

Back on thread - I'm enjoying radio show podcasts on the road bike - No commercials!

Just picked one of these up tonight. Great review by some dudes at work. 4GB memory, expansion slot for microSD, FM tuner, plays video, and doesn't use iTunes. $49. Co-worker was telling me to replace the OEM OS with Rockbox; with the new OS you can use up to 4GB microSD.

I start with Fugazi, in the middle fugazi, and in the end well FUGAZI.

Some John Butler Trio for the mix.
