Cool DH Video...

I saw Sam Hill on TV a couple of nights ago at a recent DH race that he won and that guy is FAST!!! So fluid and F'n FAST!

He didn't CRASH! What happened was: He rode over a sinkhole. The bike simply laid itself down in order to minimize the impact to Sam Hill.

If you will look closely, you can see how the bike's air bag system (standard on Iron Horse Sunday's) was deployed! Two Giant riders, 3 Santa Cruz riders and 197 Specialized riders DIED while crashing at the exact same location.

Only Sam hill rode away!

It's Fort William in Scotland, where they held the World Championships this year. I'll take the rock sections of the Fontana course any day over the wet and muddy roots on this course.

Head movement? Wasn't even looking at that.

The reason I was sooo impressed with that video: lack of movement in his shoulders... perfectly balanced over the bike.... minimal movement.

If I were riding that course, my bars would be moving left and right! I would be leaning into corners! Front tire would be bobbing from left to right while pedaling!

Don't get me wrong... Aboard the IH, I would still finish first. It just wouldn't be as pretty!
