OK, kind of a long shot, but tell me what you think. My Reign disapeared around 2 months ago, and it hasn't surfaced on Craigslist, Ebay, Newspaper, pawn shops, etc, so I'm think they're going to part it out.

I found this today: http://sandiego.craigslist.org/bik/489158925.html

Do those look like a pair of stripped Time Aliums? Stripped "clipping pedals" from a guy who "doesn't have shoes"? What do you guys think? Am I being paranoid, or might this be the first sign of my bike? I mean, who strips pedals?

Don't think so, I have the same pedals and thats how they look. Those look like the old carbons to me. But I would call him and see if you can roll over to his house, just to take a look at them and feel the bearings... just make sure you bring a bunch of friends.

Call him up and say you're upgrading an old bike, you might like the pedals, and ask him if he's got any brakes or derailleurs (your models...).

Well, it just occured to me that my bike is sitting in front of me in my living room, and it has the same pedals that my reign had... alas they are not my pedals.

However, it still sounds like this guy has some stolen sh!t, so I might keep it going and see what happens. Maybe it'll lead me deep into the San Diego stolen bike underground.....

I did some research, his father was a writer for "Bonanza". He has health problems now.

However, it still sounds like this guy has some stolen sh!t, so I might keep it going and see what happens.
