I am just thinking out loud here. Would anyone consider doing the Mt. Wilson shuttle run at night?

I have done that a bunch of times... the only thing with that is you need a light that can give you 4 hours just to be safe...hit me up. i'm down for that...

here's a couple of pics from the last time... also a smaller bike or at least one you can pedal is nice....that hike from the ruins to sunset is creepy....

Really this is called the Merrils or Mt Lowe, Mt Wilson Trail is a little further east from where we rode today. It's also shuttled. I have no desire at all to ride this trail in the dark!!!

Ya, i think you guys did mt lowe trail to upper merrill to sunset... and did you guys hit El Prieto too??? It's really not that bad at night...we skip the mt lowe trail sometimes just cause it's time consuming...the actual mt wilson trail is also fun at night but it drops you off in sierra madre...and it's shorter...

Just try to check a few out at your lbs, I have a niterider flamethrower for the helmet and a jet lite 2 trail for the bars... and I carry a cheap-o in the bag just incase...

we where not supposed to need lights that day... I thought we where to never speak of this again...

got stuck over at sturtavant...had to hike out from the mt. zion turn off... over an hour with our cell phones as the only source of light... ya it was real fun
