Default Respect for Intense!

After all the airplay that Turner, Chumba, and everyone else is getting, I decided it's time for some Intense love...

Post 'em up people!

Don't have a pix of mine but it's a steel blue 5.5 with a Fox 140 float fork,Pushed Fox RP-23,Sram shifters and X.O.rear der.,Shimano XTR front der.,XTR cranks and chainrings,Time ATAC carbon XS pedals,Avid Juicy-7's-180mm in front and 160mm in back,Mavic 819 ust rims w/CK hubs,Answer 1"c.f. riser bars,Thomson 90mm stem and seatpost topped off with a WTB Laser saddle.Weighs in at a 27.2lbs.and rides like a dream for me! Chongoblanco,I think your wrong about the pricing. They seem to be right in the same area pricewise as a Turner,Ellsworth,Santa Cruz,Ventana etc. That's the going price for these type frames, usually handmade in America. To some people it doesn't matter to others it does.It all depends what you want and/or can afford.-Lloyd

Default Intense

Props to them! Owned several Intense frames all the way back to the original Spider! Also two Tracers, Uzzi, Uzzi SLX and 5.5............. great bikes.

When they finally come out with the 5.5 29'er the Homers may need to "jump me out" of the gang

I have the money in hand to buy a new bike. It is between a Merlin 4.0 and an Intense Spyder FRO or Spyder XVP. Big on my list is light weight. I like that I can get the weight down pretty low on an Intense. I will be watching this thread to see what all of you say about your bikes. How you have them built up and what type of weights you have going.
Thanks

Bought new in late Dec. '99. Yes, it was the Christmas present to myself that year. I've thought about selling it a few times over the years. Glad I didn't.

Now it can be seen with my wife as she crushes the Loop on it.
