I have a freaky digestive system and an extremely limited diet, so needless to say a holiday that's ostensibly all about gorging oneself doesn't do much for me.

On the other hand, it's great to have a holiday that focuses on what there is to be thankful for--which for me is a lot.

Glad to know she came through the accident as well as she did...coulda been much worse!

WOW! I am really glad this didn't turn out worse. I have to thank you though, I was starting to think we were running out of good people (Samaritans) until I read your post.

Hey Liz, hope your mom has a speedy recovery. Must have been scarey for everyone. In light of it all, I hope you are all relaxing and having a peaceful Thanksgiving.
