Default New SS Porn- almost ready!

Here is a little teaser of the latest SS project:

2008 Yeti 575 in Dukes of Hazard Orangewith a full carbon rear

2008 Fox Talas and Fox RP23
Thomson Masterpiece Post
Black King Headset
Not on yet but the usual suspects:
Thomson Stem
FSA SS Crank
Mavic 819 Rims with DT Revolution Spokes on DT240S hubs
Tread? Most likely Maxxis UST Ignitor and TT
Race Face Carbon XC SL Riser Bar
Avid Juicy 7 Carbon Brakes
Time Carbon Atac Pedals
Oury Lock On Grips

The guys at Yess Products hooked me up with their ETR-V Vertical Chain Tensioner with full squish capabilities, should be interesting.
I am trying to get it ready for the Turkey ride this week!

After what happened to your Lynsky, I'm not sure if I would be riding a bike with carbon seat stays if I were you.

It is a sexy frame, though.

I can't quite read the graphics on the top tube. Does it say Nomad on it?

Yeah, but that top tube looks like something else.

No V-brake mounts? Geez...you'd think with a frame that offers all the bells and whistles, that you'd at least have V-brake mounts. What are bike companies coming to?

Yeah, you know that trip to Hawaii Neil had to cancel? Oh wait...maybe he didn't tell you. I think he was deciding between a new ride or the trip.

SS on a full suspension bike? Doesn't the axle path change the chain tension? Are you planning on running a chain tensioner to compensate? Or does the single pivot of the Yeti not suffer from this problem because it's a single pivot?

Never mind. I actually read the whole post. You are planning on running a tensioner. Very interesting. I remember reading once about a bike where the lower pivot was around the BB which allowed one to run SS on a FS MTB and no tensioner. Good luck with the build.
