Default Wish List...

I for one have had an incredable year of MTBing. I've met some wonderful people and ridden in more new places this year than in the past 7 combined... Sedona, SW Utah, Quaking Aspen, Kennedy Meadows, Idylwild, Tahoe, Mammoth, wonderful local trails and more,
As 2007 is winding down, what are some of the places you would like to ride in the future?
Dirtmistress got me started with her Switzerland post...some of the other places I'd like to go are Crested Butte, and various other Colorado locations, Alaska, Hawaii, New Zealand, Whistler, my list is endless what's on yours...?

My wish is to be able to ride before the end of the year with my favorite people. I don't care at this point where that is!

i think a few places that are on my wish list are repeats!

Whistler
Crested Butte
GJ/Fruita/Moab
D-ville

i also really want to go ride in the north east in the fall. i would love to do a new york/vermont/mass trip to see and ride in the fall colors.

i have wanted to do some riding in europe too, but that is a bit out of our budgetary range at this point. maybe 5-10 yrs away.

there are so many places to ride, just not enough money and time!!!!

White Rim (has been on my wish list for like 1.5 years, which is a lot considering I've only been riding for just over 2 years)

Crested Butte
Whistler

I've seen some awesome photos from OR, WA, ID, Montana.. would love to check out New Mexico, Mt. St. Anne in eastern Canada..

Sooo many places, so little time and money.

We had to cancel our european trip this year because the dollar is getting it's a$$ kicked so I have 5 weeks to blow and I DON"T like to vacation at home! I'm thinking Colorado again. Winter Park rocked.North Carolina is supposed to be nice. Oregon is NEVER a bad choice but I've been there a few times. Still....Maybe Canada. Maybe not. I heard New Zealand is great riding. Idaho is awesome. Good thing we have great riding in L.A. county and the other local areas or we'd go crazy!!

Right now, my wish for 2008 is just to be able to ride a recovered STT/Luge, Harding, etc.

Beyond that, I'm new enough to mtbing that I haven't expanded much beyond OC, a little bit of the San Bernardino mountains, a couple of CenCal trails, and one day in Sedona, so my wish list is pretty long. Pretty much every time someone posts an RR from out of the immediate area, my reaction is "Yeah, I'm going there next!" Then it changes with the next RR!

Anybody who has been to Whistler knows the longing of wanting to be there again right now! Another very lofty goal/wish is to go to the Master's Worlds Champ's in France. Racing in Europe against old guys who still make money bike racing, and whooping up on them of course!

The list I complied is from alot of the rides that others have gone on and given the RR's. Here's my list in no particular order:

Whistler
D'ville
Great Divide in Colorado

From a personal return list would include a return trip to Yellowstone and Mt. Hood.

I know I don't you very well, but you guys have to let me know if you come to town this fall. I'll give you the inside tour on the MA/VT trails.

Those snow shoes must make it awfully hard to pedal the bike. Suit yourself...

I think almost any one of the rides in this list Top Ten Mountain Bike Tours in North America The first 2 don't sound as interesting but after that any would do.
