Default New light: Stella

Since the days have been getting short I picked up a new light for my commute to school. I own at L&M ARC HID but that light is too big and too much for what I am doing. I wanted to check out the new high powered LED lights out in the market and I wanted to stay with L&M. They have a much better pattern to their lights and it has a cleaner beam pattern.

So I picked up the Stella-L. There are two versions of the stella, the -L and -N. The N is the economical version and the L is the light version. Out of the box, the light unit itself is pretty small. Much smaller than my ARC and lighter too. The batter pack is half the size but has a longer run time. I will be able to test out the light later this week once I start my commute again. But just lighting it at home, it is a bright light. Not has bright as my HID but bright enough for cars to see and for me to see the road.

Beautiful

Small battery pack, long burn times

Maybe Ill bring this out to the blackstar ride this tuesday.

If it performs half as good as it looks you'll be in great shape. That's really sharp.

Please do. I'm in the market for a new light kit, and am particularly interested in the new high power LED systems.

Just went through that process, was waiting on the new LED's. Talking only about quality of the beam: Stella great light, TriNewt even better...still not as good as the old standby Arc.
