Chuba logo came from?
As a few of you know, I work for a design agency. So, I'm always checking out logos, billboards, ads, etc...I was wearing my ChubaRacing shirt that I got from the demo day (thanks jason & alan) and my friend (a designer) asked what is that shirt representing. I told him it was a boutique mt. bike brand. He then commented: It looks like if Napster and Flameboy (world industries icon) had a kid, the Chuba logo would be the offspring. So, I ask, where was the inspiration for the logo found? I am NOT flaming/knocking/dissing, but rather am curious. Food for thought: ![]()

It always reminded me of the World Industries logo. Never made the connection with Napster until you pointed it out.
While we're at it, where did the name Chumba come from?

You what the sad thing is? I wanted this bike because not only do they make great bikes like many other bike companys out their but they have the coolest logo.

The Chumba head was made in 95 by my friend Jeff Holts G/F she drew it up and it went through a couple of changes. I might be able to get the original Chumba Head and post it later but it is In on paper.

We are out to take over the world one Chumban at a time.
We use the best Engineering and best materials along with the highest technology to produce bikes second to none. We really want to produce bike you can be proud to own and not spend your life saving on. Chumba has already accomplished many racing Championship titles. We have also had some of the best racers in the world along with the research that comes with being the leading edge in the racing circuit. That technology is always passed directly to the consumer not some art department or some people in some office where there is no mtn biking to throw some fancy Foo Foo Bling on it. We are about Racing and having the best performing bikes on the market . RIDE QUALITY & PERSONABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE= # 1 priority . END. ![]() J |
