Allow me to introduce myself...

Hi folks. I am new to this board and thought I would say hello and introduce myself. My name is Ciaran (Pronounced kee-ARE-an) and I am from Pasadena. 33 yrs old, going to hit 34 on Saturday. Been riding bikes as long as I can remember, with serious mountain biking beginning for me in 1994 with a break of a few years where I wasn?t living close to any trails. I ride anything except trials (I don?t have the skills for trials yet) but mostly ride XC (I am a bit out of shape and slow right now but I am working on that!), and urban. I love downhilling but don?t get to do it as often as I would like due to a lack of safe downhill trails, and people to shuttle with. (And I just sold my DH frame!)

I grew up in Whittier so I am very familiar with the trails in the hills above Whittier (Turnbull, et al.), and am just beginning to explore the mountains above Pasadena. I am hoping to meet some folks to ride with, and shuttle with, and hopefully make a new friend or two.

You all seem like nice people, with an active So Cal board so I thought I would join and say, ?Hello!?. Hope I get to know you all soon!
