Default Sell Ironhorse frame or build race bike?

I currently have a 22 lb hard tail that I use for racing. I hate riding the thing but it is light.

I recently built up a Giant Reign because I wanted more travel. I took all the parts off my 2004 Ironhorse Hollowpoint. Now I'm debating between using this frame and taking the parts off my hard tail to make this my race bike. Or should I sell the thing? Do you think it'd be worthwhile to even sell it? Thanks.

hard to say. list the specs of the possible parts transfer so we have an idea of what you are working with.

I have no idea what you are talking about.

I meant should I sell the Ironhorse frame. I'm not selling the hard tail or the parts.

I hate riding the hard tail, but I like the parts, so I'm wondering if I should transfer the parts over to my Iron Horse frame. I was thinking of waiting a year and getting a RacerX frame or just not spending the money and using the IH frame.

I have a 2004 Hollowpoint, and i'll tell you this much: it ain't a race bike. It's built to last, which means it's not racer-geek light. A great trail bike, but a racer? Not so much.

Danny, i'm worried about you. You're getting to be IH-Qaida in your zeal for your beloved bike brand. Please IM me Mama SoCal Ridur's number so i warn her to keep you away from Tha Mayor, aka you-know-who. He's clearly made a terrible imprint on your young impressionable mind.

The frame is a bit heavy for a race bike. About a pound to a pound and a half too much. I currently have it on craigslist.

Anytime you can get an Iron Horse out of your house, you are doing yourself a favor.

Ouch, I just joined this forum so I don't understand the hatred towards Ironhorse. It seems like some of you have never ridden one. Where's all the hatred coming from?

there's no hatred...there's Dino Brown that LOVES IH and pushes it like he get major commission from them so people tend to bash on the IH to get a rise out of Dino
