Default Ordered my new frame!

2008 Titus El Guapo in Black Anno with Fox DHX 5.0 Air.

Planning on selling the DHX Air 5.0 and getting a Cane Creek Double Barrel w/Ti spring.

Front fork is going to be an '08 Fox Van 36RC2.

My DT Swiss EX1750 wheels will come off the Marin and onto the El Guapo.

Cranks will be '08 XT.

Drivetrain will be Sram X9 Shifters, X0 Midcage rear der. PG990 Cassette, XTR chain.

Thomson Elite seatpost, Thomson stem, Hope Headset.

Avid Juicy Ultimates from the Marin 8" front 7" rear.

Maxxis Minion 2.35 front and rear. Might do a 2.5" highroller up front.

Should have it all up and running in less than 2 weeks

Undecided on bars, any recommendations on an oversized, wide handlebar that's lightweight, preferably aluminum?

Sounds like a sweet build...but I don't think it will fly so well at the Orange Y!

Haha yeah, might be a little too much for the track. I'll throw some older parts on the Marin so I'll still have a bike for the track.

Default Ha Ha

That my friend is a beer bottle opener. It also has a stash spot to keep your pot smoking paraphernalia in .
It was also known as the model 420.

There IS a 31.6 post available with an opener but you will need to get an ugly seat to stash your pipe.

I'm pretty sure you're just giving the op shit, but in case not: I believe it is a hydro-formed tube to keep the rear end stiff.

I like it!!!

Good choice Rob.....

but it won't make you any faster, you'd have to get a Turner for that.

Looking foward to your review.

I would have loved an XCL, and will probably still get one later

The El Guapo was enticing because it had more travel, and it weighed less-7 lbs with shock. I also wanted something that we sold so I could help promote the shops brands.
