Okay, so I got a GoPro Hero2 and went out and shot a bunch of Vid on the Kokopelli Trail.
I used a Chesty (Loved It!), however you turn the Camera Upside Down to get the right angle. Did not realize at the time how easy it was to "flip" in the settings.

In talking with someone they said you can rotate it later. I wish I had learned how to do it prior to the shoot.

I downloaded the recommended MPEG_Streamclip and rotated the video clips no problem.

However, the files are now so big that it's choppy on my computer and too big to put back on the SD Card and play through the camera on to my HD Monitor.

What are you guys doing to solve this?

Please explain in explicit simple details as I am a Mountain Biker with a limited vocabulary ;).

I appreciate in advance any help...

In this video the narrator keeps referencing the high speed adjustment as the infamous "jackalope". I didnt know that they added antlers to the rabbit sticker. Is this a new feature on Rock Shox products? Other than that this seems like a really easy to use shock for AM bikes.

So after 17 years and a lot of school I have decided to start my own auto repair business. I will offer a warranty of 6 months or 15,000 miles until I actually open a shop. For now all the repairs will be done at home. Im working on getting a license and hope to have it soon. My labor rate will be 65 an hour. I can do bumper to bumper repair to include ( my favorite) electrical repairs. I will also work out some discount for STR members. I am located in the city of Orange. I have done repairs for people on here before. I ( not to sound arrogant) do very good work and have years of knowledge and guarantee all my work. Tired of working for other people. So if your car/truck is in need of some TLC feel free to contact me. You can PM me or 714-391-0923. My name is Danny for those of you that have not met me. Sorry if this is considered spam, but I figured I could help you all save some money. Forgot to add. Most jobs I quote as a flat price ( all my time is based off Mitchell on demand and I adjust to cut costs for you) for parts and labor. The hourly rate will apply to jobs where Diagnosis is required prior to repairs. I also do not mark up parts. You get them at my cost or you can provide your own parts.
Thank you.

So this past Saturday night I woke up when the dog started barking like crazy and bolted out of the bedroom towards the backyard and continued to bark. I was very tired that night after hitting up Oaks with the dirty drunx (AWESOME RIDE BTW) and it took me awhile to muster up the energy to get up to make sure the house was secure.

I get up but was still 75% asleep and I call the dogs name and he returns into the house through the dog door but is still on alert. I walk into the kitchen and look out the front window towards the garage and the cars in the driveway and didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary. So I told the dog to shut up and went back to bed.

I wake up the next morning at 8am when a neighbor knocks on my door to let me know my truck was broken into……

I get dressed, walk outside to find this:

Smashed rear window was point of entry with a crowbar left behind on the front seat. Stereo, amp, box with subs gone. RAD!

Called the cops and they came timely and called CSI to take prints off the truck, the crowbar, and a Bluetooth headset that was laying in my truck that wasn’t mine. The CSI officer stated he would test it for DNA (crossing fingers)

Then all of a sudden another neighbor walks over and tells the cop his VW jetta was broken into through the moon rook (didn’t smash and break his glass, instead removed it nicely WTF!) The cop and CSI go over to his house to write a report and collect evidence and let me know I can look through my truck.

I look through my truck and CD’s were still there but nothing else L I did however see that they moved the stereo faceplate so they wouldn’t forget it but they forgot it. I grabbed the faceplate and:

I plan on attaching a note in the near future saying “You forgot something.”

My neighbor across the street caught them on tape with his night vision cameras but you can’t make out their faces. They look to be 2 hispanic fellows on beach cruisers and they were in my truck for 48 mins trying to take the radio equipment and finally rode away with it on their bikes.

Moral of the story: If your dog goes alert in the middle of the night something is probably wrong. Get up and investigate in detail/call the cops!

Part of me wishes I did wake up and opened the door for the dog to go after and bite the criminals or maybe go out myself and get some with a golf club. Im glad I didn’t go out there though because In my state at the time I probably would have killed both via 45ACP and I would have probably ended up in court or worse prison.

Ok,
I received this strange message in a e-mail from Drake at Isotuned. I had the guy do some work on a couple of forks last year, regretfully. Not to bash anyone or their business but my Magura Wotan was nice, for about 6 rides, then lost all small bump compliance and the rebound ceased to function. Also, the Albert Select knob was way looser after he serviced it. I actually had it fall off during a ride at Tapia Canyon several months ago and haven't seen it since. He also serviced my son's Marzocchi 55 micro air Ti and it came back with a "swooshing" sound. He said he did everything he could to eliminate it but, whatever, lessons learned. I don't want to get flamed by anyone who has had excellent results from him and I'm not really bashing him, but I kinda am. I will be sending both of my forks back to the factory and restoring them to stock, minus Drakes tweaker-tune custom shimming. Something just seemed really sketchy about the whole ordeal. I watched him disassemble my fork while he was there and he was less than ginger with it, bashing it on the ground at one point and setting my lower race with a punch instead of a race set tool. Seemed kinda hack. Anyway, the e-mail I received yesterday was in the order of a "send me money to get me out of a bad situation and I will pay you back" scam. Did anyone else receive this? If it is true, did he have our credit card numbers stored in his phone that was ripped off since he does all his billing via his Droid? Not cool. Now flame away! :protest:

Sorry, I'm in a dick mood tonight. (and no, that doesn't mean in the mood for dick, you dicks!)

E-mail I received on Tuesday May 8, 2012:

I'm writing to let you know that my family and i are stuck in Manila, Philippine has been a mess We got mugged last night at gun point and lost all cash, credit card and cell phone. It has been a scary experience,Thank God we still got our life and passport saved here with us.

Our return fight leaves in some hours from now but we are having problems settling our hotel bills, i need you to loan me some money, I'll refund it back to you as soon as we arrive back home Kindly let me know if you can be of help so that i can tell you how to wire the money to me via western union.
Awaiting your positive response,
