Okay, so I got a GoPro Hero2 and went out and shot a bunch of Vid on the Kokopelli Trail.
I used a Chesty (Loved It!), however you turn the Camera Upside Down to get the right angle. Did not realize at the time how easy it was to "flip" in the settings.

In talking with someone they said you can rotate it later. I wish I had learned how to do it prior to the shoot.

I downloaded the recommended MPEG_Streamclip and rotated the video clips no problem.

However, the files are now so big that it's choppy on my computer and too big to put back on the SD Card and play through the camera on to my HD Monitor.

What are you guys doing to solve this?

Please explain in explicit simple details as I am a Mountain Biker with a limited vocabulary ;).

Epic find. Rad in wide screen on the prate bay. It has never been released on DVD. Rumors pop up every 5 years, but nothing. I never see it on TV. However, it is in all of its glory on the bay with soundtrack included. F'in love this movie.

In this video the narrator keeps referencing the high speed adjustment as the infamous "jackalope". I didnt know that they added antlers to the rabbit sticker. Is this a new feature on Rock Shox products? Other than that this seems like a really easy to use shock for AM bikes.

So after 17 years and a lot of school I have decided to start my own auto repair business. I will offer a warranty of 6 months or 15,000 miles until I actually open a shop. So this past Saturday night I woke up when the dog started barking like crazy and bolted out of the bedroom towards the backyard and continued to bark. I was very tired that night after hitting up Oaks with the dirty drunx (AWESOME RIDE BTW) and it took me awhile to muster up the energy to get up to make sure the house was secure.

I get up but was still 75% asleep and I call the dogs name and he returns into the house through the dog door but is still on alert. I walk into the kitchen and look out the front window towards the garage and the cars in the driveway and didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary. So I told the dog to shut up and went back to bed.

I wake up the next morning at 8am when a neighbor knocks on my door to let me know my truck was broken into……

I get dressed, walk outside to find this:

Smashed rear window was point of entry with a crowbar left behind on the front seat. Stereo, amp, box with subs gone. RAD!

Called the cops and they came timely and called CSI to take prints off the truck, the crowbar, and a Bluetooth headset that was laying in my truck that wasn’t mine. The CSI officer stated he would test it for DNA (crossing fingers)

Then all of a sudden another neighbor walks over and tells the cop his VW jetta was broken into through the moon rook (didn’t smash and break his glass, instead removed it nicely WTF!) The cop and CSI go over to his house to write a report and collect evidence and let me know I can look through my truck.

I look through my truck and CD’s were still there but nothing else L I did however see that they moved the stereo faceplate so they wouldn’t forget it but they forgot it. I grabbed the faceplate and:

I plan on attaching a note in the near future saying “You forgot something.”


My neighbor across the street caught them on tape with his night vision cameras but you can’t make out their faces. They look to be 2 hispanic fellows on beach cruisers and they were in my truck for 48 mins trying to take the radio equipment and finally rode away with it on their bikes.

Moral of the story: If your dog goes alert in the middle of the night something is probably wrong. Get up and investigate in detail/call the cops!

Part of me wishes I did wake up and opened the door for the dog to go after and bite the criminals or maybe go out myself and get some with a golf club. Im glad I didn’t go out there though because In my state at the time I probably would have killed both via 45ACP and I would have probably ended up in court or worse prison.

call me stupid, dumb or whatever but im sure what i saw is not a dog, im assuming/looks like some kind of fox. it was my first time on this trail this morning. i was scared like fvck, it was staring me and moving his head up & down, idk what does it mean. so i slowly step back with my bike on my front to depend myself just in case he'll attack me. i was on the lower part, close to parking area going up,, suddenly saw this on the track. pls can anyone tell me what i saw. it looks like a gray fox or island fox, hes like black and orange, not sure with black spots.
