So My good friend Jon has his own shop, some of you (Beth/Elisheva) know him from his previous post as head mechanic at Jax Irvine. Drawing on 15 years as a shop wrench who was Trek/ Fox factory trained on service (brake bleeds, suspension, wheel building) he is offering half off any service to STR members who give him a shot.

You may also bump into him riding XC at Whiting/Luge but will primarily find him digging at the local trails he built

. The inspiration behind his shop was to put together a safe place for kids to hang out/progress after school in lieu of video games, drugs/gangs, or girls (cooties

). As you can see the place has a wicked little ramp park that has the distinction as being the sole bike only indoor park in O.C., let alone only the second legal park for bikes and the only one open to bikes every day

. While there feel free to chill in the lounge and watch the latest videos, or browse his inventory of parts selected by a rider and not some penny pinching, soulless chain store buyer. A talented wrench and great riding buddy (who is always down) just looking to make some new friends.

On El Toro Rd. in the same strip mall as BevMo, so the next time you are picking up some refreshments

drop in and take a look.

Tired of waiting a week or two to have your bike worked on. Take your bike into Morning Ride BMX and get your bike back within a day! Not only a BMX shop, they work on everything. (many years wrenching on high end mtn and road) Tune ups, brake bleeds overhauls, you name it.

Stop waiting so long to have you bike tuned. Get out and ride TODAY!
