Lost count of the people/shelves I've rammed into/tripped over while doing just this!

Was admiring a Demo 8 (Allison's?) up in the rafters just last week and almost took out a 5 year old. Her Pops was not pleased, but just then an RFX caught his eye and he just kind of wandered off, dazed.

Guess I ♥ the Path Bike Shop, too.

When I broke my 5-Spot frame I went into the Path just before closing on Saturday. He had a Medium RIP frame in stock and offered to break down my old bike and build it up by Monday AM. He worked that Sunday to get it done by Monday, that included building-up a new wheelset.

Last year when my Z1 Fork was leaking oil we tried to fix it a couple of times. It needed to go back to Zokey...I had a Cannell Plunge Trip planned and no way would it be back in time. Rather than risk it not being back in time he gave me a new Z1 fork off the rack and used my old fork as a shop loaner.

Thru the years dealing with Tani I have never been without a ride. Either he offers up a loaner part or a loaner bike.

He also seems to have the hard to find parts. Who else stocks Middleburn Cranks, Formula Brakes, Chris Kings and single speed parts....ect...

I can safely walk into most bike shops and not be tempted to buy something...The Path is dangerious,

Dean

Sure you could Mat. But what about the time you spend at the shop melting your Visa?

Better plan for a 1/2 day off................

Guess Im the exception , Which isnt surprizing

I always thought it was a cool place and the people seem nice I never felt welcome there .

Im sure its not them , Im not a meet and greet talkitive type , So when I did deal with them I always felt like a no one special customer.

Not blaming the Path or putting them down its JMO
I think they Rock also

the staff usually lets you roam free and is a fairly no/low pressure in regards to purchasing from them. Everytime i go there, i'm always asked by at least one employee if i need help with anything.

Just don't have them bring out DH bikes. Then every other employee will be out there asking you if have any questions

Sauce for moral support. Tani for knowledge. Luke for, like....help answering questions, like... and the other guys to fix stuff

Along with Adrenaline, The Path has become my shop of choice. Rumor has it that they give 10% off to STR members
