haha, this is my personal bike and wont be selling this guy. Put too much headache and effort into this. I had to sell the green covert because I ran into complications with the original bottle rocket frame and had to buy a new frame and some other parts. I would have liked to keep both but my wallet didn't think so. I figured having 1 real good bike vs 2 OK bikes is better. This is my first time ever building a bike(s) and didn't realize how much goes into it. At the end of the day I ended up spending way more then i anticipated so I'm trying to recoop some of my costs by selling the other bike and the parts I replaced to upgrade.

Here is a picture of the bike minus the seat cuz I wasn't able to find a seat post. I don't know why transition makes their seat posts sizes all weird.

Looks good, Mike! Youre right about the costs of building a nice bike--the expenses stack up fast!

is that a long cage rear derailleur with a hammer schmidt? with one ring in front, you should be able to run a short cage

I'm pretty jealous of the paint on that thing Mike! I love my bottlerocket. Having air is nice but i'd prefer to have coil

Here it is! The sun finally came out today so I could take some decent pictures. I originally started with a 2008 Bottle Rocket frame but I ran into problems because I tried installing a hammerschmidt on there but the tabs would not line up. Thankfully Transition is a great company and worked with me on getting a new 2010 frame that would be closer to fitting the hammer. The Hammer went on the 2010 frame with no problems and no modifications needed. I was a bit concerned that we would have to make some mods to the hammer and shave the holes to get it to line up properly with the tabs. I will post the complete hammerschmidt installation step by step in the mechanic forum soon so you guys can see the actual process of putting the guy on.

Thank you to Antonio for helping me put this thing together and getting the hammer and bike working like a charm! I'm ready to ride now!

Here is the complete gallery of the bike

You should skip Fontana and ride some real trails. Mainly the one's near Simi and Thousand Oaks
