Default poppin the cherry mob

so, my friend and I went out friday morning to scope out some jumps that were new to us. brought along my new mob and gave it a good breaking in

it was a bit wet, but there was one good jump that was dry. plenty of other stuff to play on when it's drier.

anyway. I don't feel like typing much, so here's some pics

sending it

working on my x-ups

bar tweak

i look huge on that bike...

my buddy chris:

thanks to chris for taking pictures.

I'm down for a return trip if anyone is in my neighborhood.

I just saw those jumps again on Sunday, and I'm betting you had a little bit of mud to roll through (although I saw some wood across most of it).

Anyhow, sweet jump pics! Actually, I think you look like a good fit for the bike.

It may take me a little while to nut up to hit those. I get psyched out on doubles. If there was a sheet of plywood across those, I'd have no problem.

cool places. PM and I'll letcha know. it's not a huge secret, but it'd be cool not to have it swamped with XC folks from a popular trail right next to it...

they're still fairly big, but yeah, nothing like the stuff at kenter. still in really great shape though. also, there's some bigger lines if you're creative. just gotta be hauling balls to clear them.

yeah, we stuck to that one jump since it was dry on both sides. the 3-pack on the right side looks really fun, and the first jump in that has a nice, wide landing for whatever you want to learn

honestly, though, they aren't as bad as they look. I was a little apprehensive myself, but just did it and turned out okay. cases the first try, overshot the next, and was dialed for the remainder. lemme know if you wanna roll over there sometime
