Might be up in the area. Was wondering if anyone had a good resource for finding trails in the Crestline, Lake Gregory, Blue Jay area? Thanks!:bang:
there is some ridin out dart canyon rd. in miller cyn./pilot rock area. Lots of good stuff on north side of lake Arrowhead. Search "lake arrowhead" on mapmyride, i got a few rides mapped there. mark
Mostly Fire roads, but I would hook up with a local like the guy above to find the single track. Won't be many maps but there are some trails everywhere:clap:.
Call Dirttorpeedo he lives up in Crestline now and has the track on some fun stuff. AND late Happy Birthday to ya Glen
There are some trails above Camp Seeley (w of Crestline, hwy 138 pretty technical & steep, but ridable. There's a 3-4 mile DH road going from Cedar Pines Park all the way back to Valley Of Enchantment. There's also some hiking/biking trails near 1000 Pines Summer Camp, just north of Lake Gregory. The Miller Cyn & Dart Cyn Stuff is 100% fireroads. If you're wanting a 20+ mile route, try riding from the Pinnacles area north of Arrowhead, on the 3N33 & 3N34 roads all way to Silverwood, a pleasant mix of steep climbs and descents. Oh, by the way, I live in Crestline / Valley Of Enchantment PM me if you want more info Lazyracer
Glen we've been riding quads there (Miller Cyn/Pinnacles) and a few other places out that way. I'm constantly on the lookout for singletrack for mtb'ing but it's mostly to lose as the off roaders have got it really loose but there is riding over by Deep Creek. I have an extra quad if you want to check it out with us.
does anyone know where this is??? I’d love to ride this and take some of my friends and family who are newer to the sport to this jump line
Good luck with that...the lights are on, but the house is abandoned....not to mention no one has touched this thread in 11 years.
i still look here every so often. rode with the STR group 3 or 4 times a month before i moved to San Mateo in 2008.
